Kate ,Robert and their 2 whippets Alf and Badger, moved to the Solway to get away from the busyness of the Lake District and both feel they have found a little slice of Heaven at Barnhourie Farm.

 

Robert is a retired Joiner/Cabinet Maker but now has more time to pursue cycling and archery. Robert is your principal host.

Kate is a full-time professional fine artist and is happy to show you around her studio at a mutually convenient time.See Kate's website for more info

Alf (12)and Badger (18) are very friendly dogs and love people and are allowed to freely roam the 2.5 acres. Badger was rescued off the streets and is nervous of other dogs.We also have a few free-range hens so we don't allow other dogs to stay at Fern Lodge.
